👉 Clash Between Twitter and Government Intensifies


    The Union Ministry of Electronics and information technology on Saturday sent a Final Warning to Twitter asking them to comply immediately with the requirements of the new guidelines. The Clash between them further intensified on Saturday when Twitter removed the verified badge from the handle of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu. The badge was later restored. 

👉 Juhi Chawla's 5G Lawsuit Dismissed and Fined Rs. 20 lakh

   

    Actress Juhi Chawla's case against the implementation of 5G technology in India has been dismissed by the Delhi High Court. The court said in its order that "It appears that the suit was filed for publicity" and has imposed a fine of Rs.20 lakh. Plaintiff Juhi Chawla circulated a link to the hearing on Social media which created the disruption thrice. The Delhi police shall identify the persons and take action against those who created the disruptions.

👉 IDC's Smartphone Shipment Report


    The Shipments of smartphones are forecast to reach 1.38 billion units globally in 2021, an increase of 7.7 % over 2020 and its highest-ever level since 2015, a new report has shown. This trend is expected to continue into 2022 when year-over-year growth will be 3.8% with shipments reaching 1.43 billion, according to International Data Corporation's (IDC)  "Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker". With 5G shipments expected to grow nearly 130% in 2021.

👉 Qualcomm to replace 4nm process instead of Snapdragon 888 -- Leak


    We're still at least a few months out from a new flagship chip from Qualcomm, but a recent leak is pointing to the company's plans for a Snapdragon 888 replacement and a 4nm process being used to build it. Evan Blass a famous phone leaker, posted to Twitter this week an overview of the Qualcomm "SM8450", a "next-gen premium system-on-chip" that will succeed the Snapdragon 888. The chip's marketing name is unclear, but the standout feature here is that it moves from the 5nm process used on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 to a 4nm process.

👉 Redmi Smartphone Price Hiked


    Redmi Note 10 Pro price in India has been hiked by Rs 500 almost three months after its launch. This comes after the standard Redmi Note 10 model's price was increased back in April. The Redmi Note 10 pro price hike in India is only applicable on the 6GB/128GB model. This means other variants will continue to be available at their original launch prices. Redmi Note 10 pro's new price in India is already reflecting on Amazon and Mi websites.

👉 Twitter -- Bitcoin Wallet


    Twitter Blue -- the social network's first subscription product that adds an undo button to tweets among other minor additions which were launched on Thursday. It's limited to Canada and Australia for now but has already garnered attention for lacking the features people would be willing to pay Twitter for, like no ads,.and more which makes Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's thread today. But the guy loves to talk about Bitcoin. Says "Square is considering making a hardware wallet for #bitcoin" in a Tweet.

👉 Elon Musk's Tesla Starts Recruiting for Senior Roles in India


    Tesla Inc has started hiring for senior-level roles in India, according to news agency Bloomberg. The electric-car maker is looking for a "head of sales and marketing" and a "head of human resources", the news report mentioned. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla confirmed that Tesla Inc would enter in January. As Musk tweeted earlier "as promised" in response to a report that the automaker was in talks with several states to open an office, showrooms, and possibly a factory in India. And they chose Karnataka for its first plant.

👉 Xiaomi to start its Own Car Project


    According to an iFengNews report, Xiaomi is planning to work on a car project led by Lei Jun. Unlike India, Xiaomi in china already offers a wide range of products apart from smartphones and accessories.  Given companies are jumping in to build cars for the future, Xiaomi also wants a piece of the cake. Recently Huawei said it's working on a similar project, Apple is also working on the same followed by the major tech brands.
