👉 WhatsApp New Update: Playback Speed for Voice messages

  

    WhatsApp is introducing a new feature for voice messages, allowing the user to play them faster than they were received. This will be useful for those who don't have the time to listen to a long message and can speed up the process. The update is being rolled out now and users will be able to download the new version on Android and iOS. And users can play the voice messages at 1x, 1.5x, and 2x. WhatsApp is also working on a review tool for voice messages, enabling users to playback a message before sending it. 


👉 Google Bug Bounty Program for Android 12



    Google now wants techies to find and report the security bugs under the Android security Rewards Program for the new Android 12 beta version and with rewards of Up to  $1,000,000(roughly 7 crores). Security researchers who are interested in Google's bug bounty program will need to analyze the latest Android beta 1 and beta 1.1 build for pixel devices. Google will hand out bonus rewards for the full exploit chain, the details of which are given in detail on the Android Security Rewards Program Website.

👉 Finally Twitter "Concerned" for Indian employees

    
    Twitter on Thursday said it is concerned about the safety of its India Staffs as it indirectly described the recent visit of a team of Delhi police's Special cell at its New Delhi office as "use of intimidation tactics by the police". Twitter, in its statement on Thursday, said it plans to advocate for changes to elements of these regulations that inhibit free, open public conversation.

👉 Amazon to buy MGM Studios for $8.45 Billion


    On Wednesday Amazon said it will acquire the Hollywood Studio "MGM", the movie and tv studio behind James Bond, with the hopes of filling its video streaming service with more stuff to watch. Amazon is paying $8.45 billion for MGM, making it the company's second-largest acquisition after it bought grocer Whole Foods for nearly $14 billion in 2017. The deal is the latest in the media industry that's aimed at boosting streaming services to compete against Netflix and Disney+. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos said that "It's going to be a lot of fun works", during the company shareholder meeting.

👉 Apple Hiring Business Developers with Crypto Experience


    Apple is Hiring a business development manager with experience in the cryptocurrency industry to lead its alternative payments partnership program, according to a new job listing. The listing says that the potential candidate should have 10 years of experience, with over six years I business development in financial services. The company said it wants someone with over five years of experience with alternative payment providers. Apart from that, Apple is paying more attention to cryptocurrency. "We are looking for a proven professional in global alternative and emerging payments solutions", Apple said in the Job posting.

  
👉 Iran bans Cryptocurrency Mining


    Iran has banned all cryptocurrency mining for the next four months. President Hassan Rouhani said on  Wednesday, as the country faces major power blackouts in many cities. "The ban on the mining of cryptocurrencies is effective immediately September 22... Some 85% of the current mining in Iran is unlicensed", was draining more than 2GW from the grid each day.mAn estimated 4.5% of all Bitcoin mining takes place in Iran

    Recently We've seen a couple of rumors, renders leak as well as official posters on the new flagships from different smartphone companies. A few days ago, Apple's upcoming iPhone 13 Pro is finally in the loop with the latest render leaks by LeaksApplePro. According to them, the latest renderings of the iPhone 13 pro may be the final look which the upcoming models will look exactly the same. The biggest change on the phone will be the small bangs on top of the Display with a tighter and compact structure. On the rear, it is still sporting the same triple rear camera setup but with larger camera sensors.

👉 Instagram & Facebook users can Hide their Like Counts.


    Facebook and Instagram users can now prevent others from seeing how many likes they receive on posts. From May 26, users will have the option to hide like counts on their own posts, as well as hide like counts on posts they see from other people in their feed. Facebook says hiding like counts allows users to focus on consuming and sharing content and not get preoccupied with the number of likes received. Here's how users can hide like counts, go to Settings>Advanced settings>Hide Like and View Counts.

👉 PS5 India pre-orders Restock Sold Out In Minutes


    Playstation 5 restocks have, once again, come and gone. India pre-orders for the PS5 went live at 12Pm(noon) on Thursday, May 27, and all the stock disappeared within minutes, predictably. Amazon was the only one to display the PS5 in stock for several minutes though. Flipkart went from "coming soon" to "Sold out" even before we hit 12pm, just like last time. The PS5 disc edition in India is Rs 49,990.

    Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G phones have been launched in China as successors to the Redmi Note 9 Series. These models are entirely different from the ones that are launched in India a few months ago. It is expected to be launched on Aug 25,2021.
     The 5G model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC and comes with support for 67W fast charging. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5. It comes with 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 450nits brightness, and paired with up to 8GB RAM and inbuilt storage of up to 256GB.
