👉 AI System Could Detect Disinformation Over 96% Accuracy


    A team at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory's Artificial Intelligence Software Architectures and Algorithms Group attempted to better understand disinformation campaigns and also aimed to create a mechanism to detect them. The main objective of the Reconnaissance of Influence Operations(RIO) program was also to ensure the ones spreading this misinformation on Social Media platforms are identified. The team published a paper earlier this year in the proceedings of the National Academy Of Sciences and was honored with an R&D 100 award as well.

👉 5G Testing Starts in India


    Department of Telecommunication(DoT) can now advise community supplier corporations to do 5G web testing in cities as well as in villages. Source has revealed that Jio 5G will use Samsung's networked units with its expertise for Internet testing. In India, 5G testing might be carried out in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Gujarat, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. According to DoT, 5G expertise will give a higher obtain pace than 4G.

👉 WhatsApp won't stop sending its new privacy policy


    WhatsApp has reversed its decision to limit functionality for users who have not accepted the new privacy policy. In earlier this month that it would not remove the accounts of users who have not accepted the new privacy policy but limit some basic features. However, now the company has announced that nothing of that sort would happen at least for now.

    Apple is expected to launch the 3rd generation Airpods this year but the Airpods Pro Second Generation will not be launched before 2022. As per reports, the new Airpods Pro will likely come with more new health-tracking features. The Airpods Pro will also feature a new design and enhanced motion sensors to facilitate health tracking features. Apple has not gone official with the plans of launching the Airpods Pro, it's still Under wraps.

    Xiaomi has introduced 200W Hypercharge fast charging technology that claims to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in less than 8 minutes. In addition, the company has introduced 120W wireless fast charging technology that claims to fully charge a smartphone with the same battery capacity within 15 minutes. They announced the arrival of 200W Hypercarge fast charging and 120W wireless fast charging technologies via Twitter.

👉 Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ leaks on Geekbench 


   
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC appears to be in the works. It has increased the clock speed of the Prime core by a few MHz. As per the leaked Geekbench listing of the Snapdragon 888+, the clock speed of this Prime core is set at 3GHz, an increase by 160MHz. So, this will result in a nominal performance jump over its predecessor, helping to score 1171 points n single-core and 3704 points in multi-core tests in a tweet by Ankit.

👉 Sony Confirms that Playstation games coming to Smartphones


    The iconic Sony Playstation games will soon find their way to mobile applications and a wider audience said Sony Interactive Entertainment boss Jim Ryan. Sony says that its expansion into mobile applications will begin this year with the rollout of some of its highly successful PlayStation franchises into mobile. To exponentially increase the size of its audience, Ryan spoke at the Investor Relation Day event of the company and hinted that this year could see sony takes steps to bring Playstation IP to mobile.

👉 Instagram Audio Rooms Coming Soon


    Instagram is seemingly working on a new feature called Audio Rooms, inspired by the popular audio-based chat application Clubhouse. The feature appears to be in the early stages of development and it was spotted by tipster Alessandro Paluzzi. The latest development comes nearly a month after a report suggested that Facebook also working on its own version of Clubhouse. In Addition, Paluzzi claims that Instagram is also planning to bring end-to-end encryption for Instagram DMs(direct messages).

👉 Twitter may soon bring FB like emoji 


    Twitter is working on adding emoji reactions to their tweets, similar to the ones available on Facebook, according to a screenshot shared by reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong. The microblogging site could include emoji reactions such as Likes, Cheer, Hmm, Sad, and Haha. The emoji reactions are currently under development and some reactions in the screenshots, especially Cheer and Sad were shown to be using a placeholder Heart emoji.
